Description
loooooooooool OTL
This first one was done when I got my first tablet, around a year and a half ago.
The initial pose is very awkward, so the anatomy is probably still pretty screwed up for the redrawn version, but it's an improvement. I altered composition a lot as well, because I think that having a sense of composition and all that is all a part of improvement as well.
I wish I didn't dwell so much on style as a beginner artist.. I should have focused on doing lifedrawing and realism before starting to worry about appeal. Now that I'm getting better at observation and drawing from life, everything that I draw just looks better. (I don't post my realistic studies but I do draw still life and landscapes and nude figures for practice)
Hope this inspires/motivates someone out there. XD;
btw faq:
When did you start drawing?
I've been doodling for all my life, but I don't think 10 minute drawings made to impress my friends really count as real "drawing". I actually began to learn and observe around 3 years ago. ' v ' I'm not that quick at improvement, but I hope to get better in the future.
