thank you!
I will confess something. When I first joined DA I've wished for many pageviews. That was my first desire. Not even to be a great artist, but to get a lot of attention.
I wondered how I could go about obtaining that many. I even schemed ways in which I could get more attention, but they always failed. (I was like 13 years old lol)
Then I realized I really suck... My art really sucked (much more than right now haha). I was really, reeeally awful. I realized that I had to improve.
Only when I started drawing seriously and working to become better and better, did this actually become a possibility. I didn't have to think about how I could get more attention. It just started building itself in the process of trying to improve and aim for higher.
Of course, I'm probably just one of the luckier ones, there are a lot of people who are ridiculously good but still don't have as much attention as they deserve. I feel grateful for that luck, of course.
We all know that hard work doesn't always reel in popularity or success. That's just life.
However, I firmly believe that if you don't work hard, if you don't put effort or attention or love into it, nothing will begin.
thanks so much guys!!! ;v; Especially those of you who have been here since the beginning (I still have no idea why you guys followed my old stuff)
Please take care of me from now on too. m(_ _)m

it's not the numbers, but the fact that you pushed yourself to improve and getting this far -- that's really something. all the best for the future!
