My OC Himeko, in her winter outfit. ~ She is a mail carrier from one of my stories. She is a cheerful girl who loves to explore places with pretty scenery.
I wanted to draw something wintery without the common holiday theme.
In my art class, we're watching art history introduction presentations... Impressionism really stood out for me for some reason. I love Monet's works, especially his colour usage. Inspired by one of his studies of the "Waterloo Bridge".
Title from "Yuki no Eki", from 5cm Per Second [link]
I like the young lady's outfit a lot. So brava for that! (The smile on her face makes me giggle a bit. )
The background could use a little bit more work. The lighting in the back is too bright compared to the girl.
Other than that wonderful!
Vision= Caught my eye right away.
Originality= Almost spot on.
Technique= SPOT ON!
Keep up the great work and I might critique some more of your work when I have time to. (Which wont be a problem since I am on Christmas vacation sitting on the couch being lazy. )
